It’s been a long time coming but I am so excited to finally share our winners fro the Rekindle Session Contest. Sara and John are celebrating their 10th anniversary (congrats you two!!) and they could not be more in love. It’s so heartwarming and wonderful to work with people who are truly devoted to eachother, their marriage and their family like these two. I wanted to re-post their adorable and inspiring story, as submitted by John, that won them the contest back in the summer of 2012. They saved their session until now to make it a special celebration of their 10th anniversary 🙂 Here’s what John wrote; “My bride and I met in the Spring of 2003. I still call her my bride because everything still feels brand new. I could tell you of the way we met and that we only dated for a few short months before our 4 day engagement turned into a beautiful fall wedding the same year. As we are moving toward our 10 year anniversary and we are pregnant with our fourth child, instead I will tell you how I have come this far with my best friend. Here is one of the many traditions we have. Every time we come to a traffic light that is red, we share a kiss. I love our traditions just as much as the surprises and I would love to surprise my bride with an anniversary photo shoot.”
I just loved working with these two, they really made my job so simple, they are just so natural and affectionate together, so I didn’t have too much to do besides just capture their love!!
Congrats you two crazy kids, lol, you deserve every bit of happiness in the world!
