I always enjoy photographing imaginative and energetic little boys like this kiddo! I guess it’s fascinating to me how much they differ from my own daughter at that age who would have preferred to sing and dance and spin in a princess dress than to don a super-hero cape and fight crime. I love the way a child of this age is so creative in their play and storytelling, the things they say just crack me up. One such example, as I was working with this little super-boy was at one point he ducks around a corner and shouts to his mother and me “you guys handle the bad guys, I’m gonna hide over here” to which I just totally lost it, such a character, this kid! We had so much fun jumping off parking lot planters and window ledges (at a very low height) and making our cape fly in the wind, and climbing up and down and back up again. Oh to be 4 years old again, right!!? Needless to say I love these shots, so much personality packed into his little frame and so much energy, I think he should start a workout club, and we can just follow his every move for an hour or so, we would most definitely burn some serious calories 🙂 With that I present “Super I” and his super family!!
