A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years, and in your heart until the day you die.”
Mary Mason
Hello friends, what a joyful and crazy season it has been! I have really been enjoying the work I am doing and creating these special images for the Khine family was no exception. One thing I personally regret in my own life is that I was not more intentional about documenting my own pregnancy in photographs. Now granted that was 23+ years ago now and back then we did not all have a camera in our pockets 24/7 (i.e. smartphones) so it was not as simple to create photographic histories of our daily lives. But I still feel the loss of those memories all the time and wish I had more to look back on not when I want to walk down memory lane.
This is why I am so glad that I do what I do now. I have the opportunity to help new parents preserve these special times and keep their memories crystal clear through the photographic artwork I create for them. This is why Htet and Anderson came to me a few months ago to start planning how to preserve their own memories of the birth of their first child. The chose to join my Session Collective Membership so I will be with them through their babies first year to help them create a visual history of this special and fleeting time. I am so glad to share these beautiful images and all the joy they exude!
